We all want to be a successful managers and bosses. We all want to be successful experts. It is important you do not become a failure or become stagnant in your field. OBEY THE RED TRAFFIC

Whenever traffic showcased red it means stop. I can remember the song we sang when we were little “traffic light, traffic light, you must obey the traffic light. Red says stop, yellow says ready and green says go.” Too many people jumps into un-avoidable, unending, unlivable and unavailing failures because of disobedient to this sign throughout their life time. Since you put your head to do what is telling you to wait, doesn't mean that it will give its expected result. If you put your head you will fail and yet wait because the law it give you as of that time is wait. You are spending and you find out that your pocket is becoming empty, yet you are still spending unnecessarily. You are dating and you find out that the person didn't have any positive impact to lay on you still; you are living life with such person. What good thing do you expect to happen again than a faithful failure?

You returned from the office as a hungry lion looking for what to eat and wanted to cook, but you found out there is not enough gas or kerosene to finish up the deal. Yet, you impetuously lighted up your cooker and begin cooking. That you disobeyed and kept on cooking doesn't mean the gas will respect you. The result is that you will cook half done and possibly waste your meal on your process of waiting to buy the gas, which you could have waited initially and do it once.

There is red traffic in the journey of success. As it is in every other journey of life so it is in success. This is the time you see a sign of I don’t move. It is the time your brain refuses to work. It is the time your business will refuse to move. It is the time your finance and income will decline. It is the time your ministry will become stagnant etc. Then what do you have to do? Stop where it instructed you to stop and follow the other way. May be, there might be another way leading to your destination in a holdup free lane. Don’t pour your water into an ocean. Don’t invest into a business that will fail you, or a business that cannot move well for you. Don’t do what you see can’t work out well. Don’t be pushed into buying any goods you know that customers will not turn up well nor open your shop where customers will not patronize you or your church in the home of no body.  If you are wise enough, if you don’t want to fail, if you want to overcome; just obey. Too many people have failed because they are on one way traffic. They don’t think twice, they don’t foresight, they don’t believe, they don’t obey. Don’t join any group of companies that you truly know that you will loose from it. Obey what your mind tells you. Your mind cannot lie to you. Sometimes you don’t find the ease to embark on any journey but when you disobey what your feelings tells you, there may be an accident or disappointment. Other times red traffic comes telling you this is not the appropriate time for you to join that group or do what you want to do but a week, month or a year later; if you join now you may meet evil men that will support your failure.  

In the first place where Jesus turned water into wine he said “dear woman, that is not our problem, “my time has not yet come” (John 2:4). In other miracle of Jesus he always speaks and it will happen. But in this one he told them “fill the jars with water” although he could have command wine to come.

 Doing what you want to do is not the problem because you know you are able to do it, but it is not yet the time for you to do it. There is a red traffic you are seeing now that if you do it, it may not favor you. Don’t false yourself doing them now; let your self feel free and whole kindheartedly. If you do it now there will be much stress. Jesus told them “fill the jars with water (stress)” because it is not yet his time. Red traffic tells you it is not yet the time to succeed, keep on preparing your way to success as John prepared the way of Jesus before his arrival.

Practically, assuming you are on your way to an important appointment with your car and reaching police check point or traffic point, you found out that the traffic is on red and other people are waiting but you decided to disobey the instruction of the traffic because you are in haste. Tell me, I believe the only favor you will get from them is an arrest. That is exactly how you will fail if you don’t obey the red traffic of success.

Obey what the rules of success and greatness tells you if you want to be successful in life.

In the race of life there is always a pause point and please wait point. Every thing you are doing cannot move straight forwardly. It most gives you a mix of positivity and negativity. If you want to start on a race that tells I can’t move, please check out well before you continue. I know we are in a competitive time when everybody want to make it and some by all means and in a faster means. But I found out that this is the reasons they don’t think to obey thereby investing in an empty hole and their life status is deteriorating.

HAVE THE SENSE OF DIGNITY

Knowing when to walk away is wisdom, being able to; is courage and walking away, with your head held high is dignity. (J. Lewis).

Having the sense of dignity is not pride, it is self respect. You should not look down on your self. Self respect and deserving is one of the factors that will help you overcome failure. Dignity itself is a concept that focuses on the worth, nobility and importance of an individual. You show the understanding of your own dignity by acting according to your sense of importance, worth, value and of a noble nature. In this aspect dignity will make you to have high aspirations, having admirable conduct, valuing your abilities and ideas, walk towards good and with boldness and assurance of being successful. When you innately dignify yourself, it will give you the ability to be passionate in your field. I think knowing the quality of oneself holds your right for you. Even when you had got low self esteem, your ability to dignify yourself will help you be peaceful and hopeful towards your self. You cannot fail when you know that you are not a failure. You cannot fail when you had dignity. Dignity is not pompous. Dignity works with humbleness. Your ability to yourself makes your internal potential to manifest even through your achievement. Your manifestation is highly assured because you know you are the person of great honor. Dignity brings honor. Dignity is a pride without negative connotation. See yourself as a successful personality. A man of dignity is a man of super-ability. You cannot fail when you know your worth, nobility, morally, ethics, cachet, quality, and prestige. Absence of dignity can easily help you give up to failure. Your self dignity is your success possibility. Be strong and live honorably with dignity telling yourself your can when it seems as if you can’t. do you still remember that you are not a fluke. You are born in a purpose for a purpose. You have skills. You are not a midnight blunder. God has an agenda for you.

Not having dignity makes you to mourn yourself in great tragedy. Therefore, dignity is an essential factor that strengthens you to be successful in life try to get it.

RESPECT YOUR FUTURE

Future success starts from the way you respect it now. You can’t fail when you have respect for your future. Respecting your future starts by having dignity. One who has no dignity can’t owe any respect for his or her future. Such person is short sighted. He can enjoy only now and loose his future. Many had rooms for poverty because they didn't respect their future and for that reason they were not successful in their career. In every future there is a diamond. That you failed today doesn't mean you will be a failure tomorrow. Try to respect yourself and your future, know your self uniqueness. Do not sacrifice your future on the altar of temporal pleasure. Enjoying temporal pleasure is the reason why some are poverty stricken today, and this is what they enjoyed years past, now holding their necks. Your future self is the inner tiny voice which instructs you not to do that wrong so that you may not stop him. It is wiser than your present self and understands more of the effect that will stem from your today’s choice. There are times your mind alerts you the effect of the choice you are about making towards your future. A sign if danger that comes from your mind. If you ignore them your future might escape through the narrow gate. Your future is in your hand, hold it tight, and prepare it well against all odd. A respected now is a successful future. Purchase things you need not things you want so that you can fund race your future through your savings. Have a personal rules, guides, or principles so that your future can be respected. Do things in the way that your future will appreciate. Life is not about finding your present; it is about creating your future. A disrespected now is a disrespected future. Respect now so that you wouldn’t live a life of complexity. Your future matters even right from your present level. Let your future be respected because it comes with profound packages.  

Men who have no future lives anyhow, they forget themselves, they spend all they have. They live without plans. They live non dignified lives. They don’t think back or front. They speak invalid words. They make noise than empty cans. Your future begins from the way you live now. The way you live now determines who you will become tomorrow. A man once said “I will make the most of myself now whether wrong or right, I will live any how I see myself now after all I don’t know where I came from”. This is a speech of one lacking future, don’t reason in that way it is wrong.

COMMIT YOUR EAR TIME RIGHTLY

Faith cometh by hearing… what you hear determines the thought of your heart and as a man think in his heart so he is. When you hear you believe and when you believes it works. What you listens today gives an answer to your tomorrow. Who is your friend, who do you communicate with, what do you pay most of your attentions to. Show me your friend and I will show you where you are going to. A bright future and clear destination begins with a clear auditory response. And thine ears will hear a word behind thee, saying, this is the way, walk ye in it, when you turn to the right hand, and when you turn to the left hand (Isaiah 30:2).

Those that do listen to sports news believes and talks about sports often, those that listens to God believes in God, talk and act like him, and those that listens to the devil believes, talks and act like him. Those that listen to foolish information act foolishly. You can’t expect to succeed when you hang out with failures. You can quickly succeed when you walk with already succeeded men and those who had the zeal to succeed. You can’t have faith to succeed and be great if you have not heard it from the right motivating person. Out of the abundant of the heart the mouth speaks. Many fail because of their inability to hear the right word. Try to hear yourself rightly every time and don’t allow negativity to penetrate or enter deeply inside you through your listening organ. Your capacity to listen is your ability to succeed. Success and greatness, or great failure of life depends on your area of auditory concentration. My business mate said that he quit in the business because others are saying that the business will not help them end up well. Success is to them that hear constantly that men are born to rule, succeed, control and become great. Failure is to those that embraces complains, confusion, worries, low self esteem.  I talk to myself “I know I spends much time staying with those who is greater than me, but I also know that I am not wasting away time” the time you spend listening to men who have succeeded in life is not a wasted time, it’s a waiting and preparation time. It’s an invested time. Prepare your ears and hear positive and not negativity. Commit your ear time rightly and do not be as one of the foolish who thought success and greatness to be an imagination and hallucinations. Success is not an act of how I wish. Who do you spend time with? Most successful men are men who prefer listening to talking. Constant talking removes from you but listening adds value. Listen to information you. Stay with friends that will impact your life positively. Listen to men of success with humbleness and soonest you will start dreaming like them. Stop listening to those that tell you why it will not be possible, stop watching video of negative impart. Make yourself unique to hear from unique people. Learn to listen to the right word from the right personality and your success will appear as easy as never thought.

BE KNOWN FOR ONE THING.

You can’t do several things and expect to succeed or be perfect in them all. You will be perfect in one and left the other.

Highly successful men are known for one thing not everything. Well known men are ordinary men with a concentrated mind who can do their work perfectly. Do not be a man of “DOUBLE MAN TROUBLE ONE MAN CARRY”. You can’t be doing several things and expect to do all of them exceptionally well. Any expert that can involve himself in too many works is no more an expert because he can’t get things perfect. It’s only perfectness that makes you an expert in your field. One bad thing perfectly done is better that one good thing that is not exceptionally well done.

No one can serve two masters at the same time. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other … (Luke 16:13).

It may look complicated to someone thereby asking “what is the one thing that I should be known for?” I know you will be wondering exactly how you figure out what the one thing is, but it is not too complicated as you imagine. Now if you are your real self think, you will found out that there is a particular thing you are good at doing naturally; that is the one thing we are talking about. Now what next? Start at it; attack it immediately without letting it to chance. Face at it as if there is no tomorrow and you will be surprised of how your name boomed all over the earth. You will become an expert on practical continuity. Being known for one thing makes you unique in you field, it makes you beneficial to yourself and society. People will start looking up to you as a savior. It will perfect your creativity ability yet help you to produce another. You are doing one thing but setting your eyes on the other, don’t be surprised that you may not get any perfectly or possibly miss all of them.

There was a day in my home I saw two birds perching in my compound I decided to kill them with a stone I have at hand, heey! What happened? The birds fly away. I went inside my room being disappointed. Another day came and I saw the same set of birds perching in the same point as of last time. I picked a stone immediately and my mind reminds me of the mistake I made last time, then I tried targeting one. Wow! What happened I succeeded, how many? I am sure of one bird. I guess “for you to be successful and perfect at your goal, you must go for one first. A bird at hand is better than the thousands in the bush. A victim of not concentrating in one thing is always a busy bee from early morning to on, yet, you don’t seem to have achieved anything throughout your whole busyness.

You can know anything, but not everything.

You can do anything, but not everything.

You can attend to somebody, but not everybody.

You can be wise, but not a computer.

Do it all mentality is too bad don’t go for it. You can never do it all because you are not a computer. Your ability to do everything marks your inability to give a result positively. It will make you absent in your field and you will not be known. You must be perfect in your field. You must be known for one thing, and then other things become additional. Do one first.  Never think to give up.
